One of the beauties of teaching is starting with a “fresh” group of students each year. New challenges, new rewards, new joys, new opportunities – for teachers AND students. Moyock Author’s Club has many “fresh” faces eager to jump into the world of writing. Once again, we invite readers to enjoy our work, give us your comments, and share some of your creative ideas as well. Let’s get going! We’re off to a “fresh start!”

Author’s Club members are great poets! Many of the students’ poems are submitted for publication in Celebration of Young Poets, a yearly collection of student writing. Enjoy these poems with us and write a comment! We want to hear what you think.

Students in Moyock Elementary School Author’s Club are working hard each week, improving their skills, sharing their knowledge, and impressing their sponsors. Students have published book reviews for the Virginian~ Pilot newspaper, poetry, essays, letters, interviews, and stories.
